Chocolate buns

Forberedelse 15 min + 1 t 15 min /I alt 1 t 4 min
INGREDIENSER
2,5 dl sødmælk
25 g gær
25 g sukker
5 g salt
0,5 tsk. kardemomme
1 æg
500 g hvedemel
50 g blødt smør
100 g chokoladeknapper

Tips for soft chocolate buns
- Use chocolate buttons rather than chopped chocolate. This gives a nicer result, as chopped chocolate adds "crumbs" to the dough that can melt and color the light dough.
- The dough needs to be kneaded really well and for a long time. That's why cold milk is used for the recipe, because the dough will warm up during kneading. However, it's important that the dough doesn't get so warm that the chocolate melts. If you feel that's the case, you can let the dough stand for 10 minutes before adding the chocolate buttons.
- Use high-quality wheat flour - preferably with a high protein content of around 11%, so you get a strong dough that is easy to work with.
- You can easily omit the chocolate and use the recipe as teacup or teddy bear buns. Also try adding raisins to make raisin buns.
